Welcome to Green Cleaners NJ

When I was 13 years old, I moved to the Jersey shore from Jamaica. I had the opportunity to live with my grandma, who was an amazing lady. I loved her dearly. A few years after living here, she was diagnosed with cancer and was unable to clean like she used to. I asked her what needed to be done around the house, and I always try my best to surpass all her expectations because she had done so much for me. I was grateful for everything she had done. She then got me a job at her workplace, where I was tasked with maintaining the kitchens and offices. They taught me everything I needed to know about cleaning procedures and how to lead a team. I became the leader of the team at just 16 years old, after gaining years of experience. Fast forward to COVID-19, I realized that I needed to give back to my community by ensuring it was safe for everyone - the kids, the elderly, and those too busy to clean. That's when I started Green Cleaners.

My journey has taught me the importance of hard work, perseverance, and empathy. Moving to a new country and starting fresh was not easy, but it taught me to never give up and always strive for better. Being able to help my grandma and eventually starting Green Cleaners has shown me the impact of helping others and the satisfaction that comes with making a difference in people's lives.

In terms of leadership, I learned that leading by example and being empathetic towards my team members is key to creating a supportive work environment. It's important to listen to their needs and concerns, while also guiding them towards success. Overall, my journey has shaped me into a more compassionate and driven individual, and I am grateful for the opportunities that have allowed me to give back to my community through Green Cleaners.
